The world press featured the statements of Dar al-Iftaa in response to decapitating the American journalist James Foley at the hands of ISIS terrorist groups in Iraq. The American nsnbc, Canadian Vancouver, Irish newsreporter and Indian zeenews published the statements of the Senior Advisor to the grand Mufti, Dr.Ibrahim Negm, in which he confirmed that such terrorist acts provide a chance for ill-hearted opportunists to deliberately promote distorted images of Islam and level false and appalling accusations against it.

The world press highlighted Dr. Negm's statements that such terrorist acts are considered a deviation from the principles and rulings of Islam which mainly command to preserve and protect souls, blood, property and honor. The mufti's advisor made it clear that it is impermissible to sympathize with ISIS terrorist groups, even with a word. And whoever does this is deemed an accomplice in their crimes against humanity. He called the Egyptian people to deny these acts of such misguided group by every possible means.
