The Grand Mufti of Egypt, Dr. Shawki Allam, strongly condemned the suicide attacks on Karachi Chinese Consulate and on a crowded market in a town in Pakistan's northwest, leaving scores of dead and injured.

In a press release issued on Friday, Dr. Allam renewed his call to the international community to cooperate to uproot terrorism that threatens the entire world with no exception.
The Grand Mufti expressed his deepest condolences to Pakistan's government and people and prayed to God to bestow His mercy on the dead and grant the injured a speedy recovery.
