Egypt's Grand Mufti, Dr. Shawki Allam, strongly condemned the suicide bombing on Tuesday afternoon in a Sheikh Zuweid market in North Sinai igovernorate, killing four police personnel and three civilians including a six-year-old boy and at least 26 others were injured.
In a news statement issued on Tuesday, Dr. Allam confirmed that terrorist groups seek to destabilize our country and threaten its security, yet God Almighty will turn their endeavors in vain.
Dr. Allam extended his sincere condolences to the families of the victims and wished the injured a speedy recovery.
