In recognition of his notable contributions to promote global peace and combat extremist ideologies, His Eminence Sheikh Abdullah bin Bayyah, honored the Grand Mufti of Egypt, Dr. Shawki Allam, at the closing session of the 5th Assembly of Forum for Promoting Peace in Muslim Societies currently held in UAE titled “Alliance of Virtues: An Opportunity for Global Peace”.

From his part, Dr. Allam expressed his thanks and appreciation to the United Arab Emirates, His Excellency Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, and His Eminence Sheikh Abdullah Bin Bayyah, President of the Forum for Promoting Peace in Muslim Societies, for receiving this honor in light of the mutual strong relations of the two countries.
