The Grand Mufti of Egypt strongly denounced killing tens of Pakistani students by the terrorist group Taliban in #Peshawar
With deep sorrow and heartfelt prayers for the lost lives of innocent children in the recent massacre in Peshawar, Dr. Shawki Allam, the Grand Mufti of Egypt, strongly denounced the killing of 141 persons including 132 Pakistani students by the terrorist group Taliban after taking hundreds of school students as hostages in Peshawar.
The Grand Mufti stressed in a statement that this terrorist group has violated Islamic law which counts the preservation of the human soul and intellect among its ultimate objectives. They killed innocent students inside their school.
Allam, further emphasized that Islam is innocent from all these terrorist practices that contradict both the religion and the human nature, and denounced by all religions. He mentioned that such terrorist crimes distort the image of Islam and Muslims all over the globe.
The Grand Mufti concluded by saying that the Messenger of God [peace and blessings be upon him] said: “Whoever goes out to seek knowledge, he is in the path of Allah until he returns.” He finally supplicated God the Almighty to accept these victims among the martyrs and righteous people.
