On behalf of New Zealand's prime minister and people, New Zealand ambassador to Cairo, Greg Lewis met Egypt's Grand Mufti, Dr. Shawki Allam, on Wednesday to offer condolences over Christchurch's terrorist crime occurred last Friday at two mosques.
"Muslims in New Zealand are an indivisible part of the society's fabric where there is no place for racial or religious-based discrimination," the ambassador confirmed.
From his part, Dr. Allam appreciated the ambassador's visit and stated that such heartbreaking terrorist crime clearly proves that terrorism has no religion or homeland and it is totally erroneous to attribute it to any faith.
