Egypt’s Grand Mufti, Dr. Shawki Allam, met on Thursday with the ambassador of Oman to Cairo and its permanent representative to the Arab League, Dr. Ali ben Ahmed Al-Isai on the occasion of terminating his duty in Egypt.

Dr. Allam congratulated the Omani ambassador on the occasion of appointing him as a member of the state council of Oman which is one of the most important positions in the Sultanate.

From his part, Dr. Al-Isai expressed his appreciation to the Grand Mufti for his kind hospitality and stressed the deep-rooted relations between the two countries at all levels.
