Grand Mufti of Egypt, Dr. Nazir Ayyad, recently welcomed several delegations from Al-Azhar University to congratulate him on his new appointment. The first delegation, from the Faculty of Da'wa and led by Dean Dr. Mohamed El-Gendy, praised the faculty's role in spreading Islamic knowledge and supported the Mufti’s efforts to promote moderation. The second delegation, from the Faculty of Islamic and Arabic Studies for Girls and led by Dean Dr. Farida Mohamed Ali Hassan, emphasized the importance of collaboration to enhance religious awareness. The third delegation, from the Faculty of Medicine for Girls and led by Dean Dr. Hanaa El-Abbasi, acknowledged the Mufti’s role in guiding the community and highlighted the significance of Dar Al-Ifta in providing sound religious perspectives.
