Interpreting and teaching the Quran in non-Arabic languages

Question

Is it permissible to interpret and teach the meanings of the noble Quran in a language other than Arabic?

Answer

The noble Quran is the primary source for deriving Islamic legal rulings. Its meanings have been translated into many languages, such as English and French. This constitutes a means of conveying the meanings of the Quran to all people across the world, in compliance with the words of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), “Convey from me, even if it is a single verse” (Bukhari).

And Allah the Almighty knows best.
