Can a mother or father pay zakat to the son or daughter and if so, can they pay all of the amount due or only a percentage of their zakat.

It is permissible to give one's due zakat to one's financially disabled ascendants and descendants. It is also permissible to give it to one's son-in-law (daughter's husband), to one's married daughter if her husband is needy and to the sister in need.
