His eminence, Dr. Shawqy Allam, the Grand Mufti of Egypt has received a Yemeni delegation from both the national conference dialogue and the scholars association led by Sheikh. Hamud Hashim al-Dharhi.

This visit is to benefit from the successful experience of Dar al-Ifta in communication and dialogue, and benefiting from it in developing recommendations for legal and constitutional texts. Furthermore, a protocol of cooperation between the Yemeni scholars association and Dar al-Ifta was discussed in the fields of issuing legal verdicts, training and juristic researches.

The delegation has praised the role of Dar al-Ifta al-Missriyah in promoting proper moderate methodology and spreading scholarly approach in Ifta’ to confront randomness in issuing fatwas and deviant ideas.

The Grand Mufti has expressed his willingness to cooperate with the association and transmit Dar al-Ifta’s experience in these fields.
