Activating the recommendations of its international conference on Fatwa, held mid-August, Egypt's Dar al-Ifta celebrated the graduation of a new group of Thai scholars who received training on the skills of Fatwa issuance. Dr. Shawki Allam, Egypt's grand mufti, and His Excellency Mr. Peerasak, ambassador of Thailand to Egypt, attended the graduation ceremony, held at Dar al-Ifta premises. From his part, Dr. Allam pointed out that Dar al-Ifta is ever keen to combat all forms of extremist ideologies, striving hard to prepare and train qualified muftis worldwide on the skills of Fatwa issuance.
