The grand mufti of Egypt condemns the murder of the central security soldiers in Rafah, "We warn all Egyptians in general and young people in particular against engaging in illegitimate fighting which serves none but the interest of the country's enemies inside and outside", the grand Mufti confirmed.
The grand Mufti of Egypt, Dr. Shawqi 'Allam, strongly condemned the brutal terror attack against the central security soldiers in the city of Rafah-Sinai which led to the martyrdom of 25 Egyptian soldiers and left others wounded.
The grand mufti called upon those in charge to take all strict measures to protect Sinai and our soldiers, inviting all executive and responsible authorities to take all required measures to confront such serious challenges and to beat them with an iron fist to defend Sinai and Egypt's sovereignty. He also asked everyone to shoulder the responsibility to maintain the security of the homeland.
"As we express our absolute condemnation of violence and terror of all its forms which are ultimately prohibited in Islam, we warn all Egyptians in general and young people in particular against engaging in illegitimate fighting which serves none but the interest of the country's enemies inside and outside", grand Mufti said.
The grand mufti offered his sincere condolence to the families of the martyrs whishing speedy recovery for all injured. He confirmed that such terror action which led to the martyrdom of 25 people from among the best soldiers of central security forces must not be taken lightly.
The grand mufti concluded his statement supplicating Allah to protect Egypt, its people and soldiers from all evils.
