The Grand Mufti of Egypt, Dr. Shawky Allam, received the Mufti of Ukraine, Sheikh Ahmad Tamim at his office to discuss the means of promoting Egypt-Ukraine religious cooperation. The mufti of Ukraine toured the departments of Dar al-Ifta and said that the religious administration of the Muslims of Ukraine is eager to disseminate the moderate methodology adopted by al- Azhar and Dar al-Ifta away from strictness and extremism. He extended an open invitation to the scholars of Dar al-Ifta to visit Ukraine and discuss the needs of the Muslim community there. The meeting was attended by Deputy of al-Azhar, Dr. Abbas Shuman; Deputy of the Mufti of Ukraine, Rustum Gafoury; Head of the International Relations, Sheikh Hussam al-Deen al-Halawany; Head of the Development Department, Daniel Gunsharouf.
