Dr. Shawqi 'Allam, the Grand Mufti of Egypt, will cast his vote in the presidential elections tomorrow morning in Abdul Aziz Gaweesh school, Nasr City.
The Grand Mufti confirmed that the success of the presidential elections is a persistent national demand. Maintained that the success of the elections is not limited to a high turnover as expected, but to exhibiting civil conduct from the beginning of the electoral process until its end. He added that this is achieved by observing peace and public order as well as by obeying the law and the instructions of the Supreme Committee of Elections. He moreover said that the voting headquarters should be safe and the masses must obey traffic order and the instructions of policemen.
The Grand Mufti called upon the voters to avoid misbehavior and disputes and to place the interest of the country above all considerations by choosing conscientiously the candidate they think is better for the country’s welfare and that of the people.
