In a lecture for religious organization in New York: Dar al-Iftaa stressed its condemnation to the Israeli heinous war crimes committed against Gaza

Dr. Ibrahim Negm, Advisor to the Grand Mufti of Egypt, described the attack against Gaza as a ‘hideous war crime’ and called for international intervention to stop Israeli crimes against the children and people of Gaza.

In a lecture delivered yesterday evening before religious organizations in New York, Negm stressed that the entire world is required to seek a real and just solution to the Palestinian cause if the international community wants stability in the Middle East. He said that international parties seek to ignite the area to expand the hotbed of conflict, evidenced by incidents in Libya, Iraq, and Syria.

He further noted that Egypt’s support of Palestine is an invariable element to Egyptian national security and confirmed that Egypt will not give up its historic role in the region and in the Palestinian issue in particular.

Negm demanded that balanced foreign policy must be the basis for improving relations between the United States and the Islamic world. He added that there must be real efforts that respect international law and UN resolutions, particularly those related to the Palestinian cause.
