In a newly released motion graphic video, Egypt’s Dar Dar al-Ifta confirmed that Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) has determined the recommendation of congratulating others on the recurrence of religious occasions as per the Quranic injunction, “Speak fair to people” (Quran 2: 83).
The video added that congratulating others on the occasion of feasts, and the advent of months and years is sanctioned and recommended in Islamic law and a manifestation of joy, peace, love and solidarity.
