In a new motion graphic video, Egypt’s Dar al-Ifta said that development is a powerful means to counter terrorism. It confirmed that—over centuries—Islam was and is still a source of civilization and refined teachings.
Dar al-Ifta called for reflecting on the primary texts (Quran and Sunnah) and the main objectives of Shari’ah to realize that God created man and made him His vicegerent on earth. Construction, development and helping one another are the core work for which man is rewarded in this world and the Hereafter, the Dar mentioned in the video.
The video concluded that Islamic civilization is based on the values of tolerance, freewill, equity and justice.
