As part of his statement on the International Day for Ifta, Dr. Ibrahim Negm, Senior Advisor to Egypt's Mufti, Secretary General for the General Secretariat for Fatwa Authorities Worldwide, said that the General Secretariat comes at the forefront of institutions that fulfills the call of the Ummah and Egypt's Sisi for renewing religious discourse.

Dr. Negm highlighted that the General Secretariat, under the leadership of Egypt's Grand Mufti, is working in full force to fulfill its mission regarding development and serving the craft of issuing fatwa.

As for the General Secretariat's annual conference, Dr. Negm announced that the 2023 conference will focus on "Fatwa and World Peace.
