Egypt's Grand Mufti, Dr. Shawki Allam, accompanied by the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, Professor Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, visited on Wednesday, January 3 The Coptic Orthodox Cathedral in Cairo's Abbasiya to extend greetings to His Holiness Pope Tawadros II, pope of the Coptic Orthodox Church of Alexandria, on the occasion of Christmas, asserting that the birth of Prophets is mercy and peace to humanity as a whole.

Dr. Allam prayed to God to bring back these festivities to our beloved Egypt and the entire world with goodness, peace, security, and stability.
